What’s Good, Jersey Shore?

My trip home for spring break was amazing. I got to see so much of my beautiful family and spend time in some of my favorite hometown hangouts. And while Phoenix is beautiful this time of year, (like 80 degrees, sunshine and pool time kinda beautiful) there is one thing I always miss: the shore.

I was fortunate to have a beautiful 80 degree day at home (in March? that’s unheard of… probably something crazy going on with the environment but I’m going to let that go and just be glad it happened). Luckily my wonderful momma was free from work and up for a drive. My soul longed for the salty air and sand between my toes, so off we went to the cute little beach community of Ocean Grove.

We went for a beautiful walk down the shore to Asbury Park, which was a little chillier than expected. So glad I listened to my mom and brought a sweater. (How do moms always manage to know everything? I will never fully understand.) Also there are some incredible art installations down there worth checking out. Tons of locals were stopping by to snap some pretty creative shots!

I’d say my day was pretty successful. I was craving that magical feeling of being by the ocean and definitely got my fix. I’ll be counting down the days until my summer trips down the shore to soak up all the good ocean vibes. Until next time, my beautiful Jersey Shore.
